 Services

At Motiva Learning, we provide behavioral therapy and ABA therapy to neurotypical children and children with autism, communication delays, ADHD, and other challenges. We specialized in problem behavior reduction and skill acquisition training. Our approach is family oriented and is based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). We are located in South Florida and offer services in North Miami-Dade and Broward County.

We provide the following services:

ABA Early Intervention  | Counseling & Behavior Support  | Parent Training  |   School Consultation

Early childhood is a critical time for building the foundations of communication, play, emotional regulation, and learning. During this stage (18 months old - 5 years old), I use play-based behavioral intervention to support children in developing essential developmental skills.

Areas of focus may include:

  • Development of play and social interaction skills

  • Building joint attention and engagement

  • Early communication and language development

  • Emotional regulation and frustration tolerance

  • Following simple routines and directions

  • Increasing independence in daily activities.

Parent collaboration is an important part of early intervention so that skills learned during sessions can be supported at home and in everyday routines.

Parents play a central role in a child’s development. Parent coaching provides practical tools and strategies to support your child’s progress in everyday situations.

Through collaborative sessions, parents learn how to better understand behavior and implement strategies that strengthen positive skills and reduce challenges.

Parent training may include:

  • Understanding the function of behavior

  • Effective reinforcement strategies

  • Supporting emotional regulation

  • Building consistent routines and expectations

  • Managing transitions and challenging behaviors

  • Promoting independence and adaptive skills

  • Strengthening parent-child interactions

The goal is to empower parents with strategies that can be used confidently at home and across daily routines.

For children in elementary and middle school, services focus on strengthening emotional, behavioral, and executive functioning skills that support success in school, relationships, and daily life. Using principles from behavioral analysis and ACT, I help children develop practical strategies for understanding their behavior, managing emotions, and building flexibility in thinking and problem solving.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Executive functioning skills (planning, organization, task completion)

  • Emotional regulation

  • Coping with anxiety or frustration

  • Improving behavioral self-control

  • Social skills and peer interactions

  • Developing flexible thinking and problem solving

  • Building confidence and independence

Children's performance at school can be improved when working for the same goals. We work with preschools and elementary schools to provide applied behavioral analysis support services and educational consultation services for children with autism and other learning challenges such as ADHD, and oppositional behavior.

Some areas for training are:

  • Following instructions

  • Promoting appropriate social interaction with peers

  • Increasing appropriate communication

  • Decreasing problem behaviors in the classroom

  • Completion of assigned school works, getting started, and finishing.

  • Promoting on-task behavior

  • Transitions between assignments/ classes

  • Organizational & time management skills
